AGEHA in Tokyo

Tokyo’s biggest club, AgeHa offers three dancefloors, numerous bars and chillout areas and a world-class soundsystem. It’s easy to get lost at AgeHa: but fans of cavernous club spaces need look nowhere else. The main dancefloor, Area, has a 2,400 capacity, but besides that there’s an outdoor pool stage (Water), a multi-purpose warehouse (Box), and in summer you can hang out at the purpose-built beach.

Getting to AgeHa requires a little commitment — located in Tokyo’s Bay Area, you can pick up a shuttle bus, but don’t forget your ID. Inside, expect to hear techno and electro, with the odd international headliner — Paul van Dyk is booked for 2017, and the club’s hosted Berghain heavyweights Ben Klock and Marcel Dettman in the past.
