The towns and cities of the Adriatic coast are steeped in history, and the area’s club and festival owners have been capitalising on that heavily in recent years. Situated within the sandstone walls of a fort built in 1453, Revelin not only combines old and new (as in, ultra modern, state-of-the-art lighting and huge 120kW Audio sound system-new), but has really been reaping the benefits of doing so — climbing all the way into the top 50 just two years after first landing in our poll.
Naturally the venue’s impressive bookings help — Claptone, Paul Van Dyk, R3hab, Sam Divine, Doorly, Prok & Fitch, Weiss… the list goes on — along with a full seven-day programme, including new night MashUp Masters, and DANCEElectric Residency, which promotes underground talent. 2017 will bring over 50 DJs to Revelin’s main stage, two five-day festival, a two-dayer and performances from the club’s unique dance group. Phew! Busy to say the least then, and with no sign of stopping, it looks like Revelin is sure to go in history as a favorite for Croatian clubbers and touring ravers alike.
