Truth In Advertising is a consumer watchdog group that examines how accurate advertising is and calls out any undisclosed sponsorship deals that affect what’s being said or shown in ads.
The group is hot on DJ Khaled‘s tail because of his social media posts featuring loads of alcohol. Posts like the one pictured below have become a problem for him. If he were just showing off his personal tastes in alcohol, it would be fine. The problem is that he’s taking sponsorship money from alcohol producers and not disclosing that. He should say somewhere in his posts that viewers are basically looking at a paid ad. At least, with that information in hand, you can make your own decisions about Khaled and his drinking preferences.
